Dream: Nude ghost

I don't usually talk about my dreams, partly because my brother, Mr. big-shot Ph. D in psychology always tells me that dream interpretation is B.S. . .regardless, I have been having some weird dreams lately. Last night I dreamed about sitting in my living room at night, when I heard the doorbell ring. I opened it, and a naked women with long, black hair floated into my house and faded away. Later on, the doorbell rang again, and it was another, older lady who told me that there was an "evil" ghost wandering the town. From what I remember, the rest of the dream was me waiting in fear to see the ghost appear again.

PS. The dream I had the night before was a little too graphic to share on this board.

There are many others that are more knowledgable about dreaming on this forum than I am but this sounds pretty interesting.

Some of the results from some websites that I scanned through have said:

Dreaming of a naked woman denotes that you are passionate about somebody.
To dream of a naked man where only the top part is visible foretells illness to a female member of your family but if the privates are exposed then the meaning is death. It is reversed if you dream of a naked female.
Dreaming of a powerful woman being nude depicts a strengthening of the dreamer's Aminus.

Do any of those particularly apply to you? I'm hoping that your 'Aminus' is strong (whatever the hell this may be). It sounds as though you could have some sort of hidden passion or desire that you are afraid will haunt you in the future. Does that sound reasonable?

Gnarly! I didn't know I had that kind of power as a lowly non-moderator.

Not sure what Aminus means, but surely I'm passionate about somebody. . .Just out of curiosity, what does it mean to shoot someone in a dream?

From what I have read, shooting someone or shooting in general in a dream means that you are destroying apart of yourself. Be it a talent or an aspect of yourself...

I know that death is always a bad omen in a dream no matter what the circumstances are.

I had this dream book once that had a huge segment about women with long black hair. It was saying how they are the mind's manifestation of the frustration you have with someone that you really care about.

yo yo joe... i haven't posted for a while for i have relocated in the sunny lightning capitol of the u.s. but i saw that u could use some info on the anima since it could help u out in relating to this dream. u need to refer to carl jung for this one. i would goto this great dictionary site that has all kinds of relevent links for whatever u look to define. check this page out:

there will be great help for u there.

in short tho, its got to deal w/ the feminine aspects of the male conscious. every male has it... i guess sometimes its more or less apparent than others.
